Hello everyone!
My question today is about sending the K10D and my 31mm ltd to Pentax for calibration.
Has anyone had this done? Did it improve the performance? And how long did it take to have it done. Should this be done before warranty lapses.

If you are meaning sending back to Japan Hoya, You may send an email to
csd.support@pc.hoya.co.jp
for enquiry first and they would tell you the procedure.
However, beware of the expensive shippind cost and also the remittance cost.
Should this be done before warranty lapses? Absolutely yes.

From the U.S. I recommend using Pentax Imaging in Colorado for most any service need. Call 1-800-877-0155. They are quick and inexpensive (for nonwarranty issues).

I sent in my DA F50 with the K10D for calibration to Pentax Canada, and it took about 2 weeks.
Looks like i'll be sending my FA 28 and might as well send in the 16-45 and 50-200 with it, just so they can have a look.
