Marumi reverse adapter for pentax???

I bought that adapter for mount kit lenses upside down for macro photos.
And Iam a little worried because that adapter is made of metal, and when I put it on bayonet it is touching that contacts which are for comunicating with lenses.
Is that normal or not.
Thanks, Luka

I think that's normal. Some of my manual focus lenses are similar, no isolated electronic contacts so all the contacts on the body's bayonet are shorted to the bayonet mount.

As long as its not touching the two contacts that are deeper in the mount (which your camera might not ever have) you're fine. All manual lenses short out the 7 lens communication contacts around the edge of the lens mount.

I have pentax k200d which has two contacts which are depper, but it's not touchin with the adapter, so I don't need to worry about.
