K10D auto Pop-up flash???

HI guys, i'm a bit confused about the flash of the K10D. On Dpreview they say the flash is a " Manual release pop-up". While on Pentax.co.uk website in the specifications section they say it is a "Built-in retractable P-TTL auto pop-up flash". Which is true?
IMO i prefer it is auto pop-up. for example if the camera is in P mode and it decides it needs falsh i prefer that the flash pops up automatically instead of the user having to press the release button. that gives you more time to concentrate on the shot taken.

It's not auto pop-up as per the user's guide.

In green mode you can set the flash to "Auto", pop it up manually, and in "Auto" mode it will then only fire when needed.
