"The Mersenne Twister is one of the most extensively tested random number generators in existence." So says the Python documentation for its random module, 5.7 random -- Generate pseudo-random numbers

With a name and description like that, what better way to choose which lens than a quick Python program!

Code:
>>>import strings
>>>import random
>>> lenses = "DA 10-17 | DA 16-45 4 | DA 18-55 | FA 50 1.4 | A 35-70 | A 3.5-4 | M 28 2.8 | M 28 3.5 | M 50 1.7 | M 50 4 | M 75-150 4 | M 135 3.5 | M 200 4 | K 35 3.5 | Super Tak 17mm FE | Super Tak 28 3.5 | Super Tak 50 1:4 macro | Super Tak 55 1.8X2 | Super Tak 55 1:2 | Super Tak 85 1.9 | Super Tak 135 3.5 | Vivitar 105 2.5 | Vivitar 55 2.8 | Tamron 70-300 LD DI 4-5.6"
>>> lens_num = len(lenses_split)
>>> rand_num = random.randrange(0, lens_num, 1)
>>> print lenses_split[rand_num]
And the winner is...

Super Tak 55 1.8X2. No kidding, despite my bias, that's the first result I got

For bonus points you can also randomize your lens collection (using the previous script and try them in this random order (the Mersenne Twister algorithm strikes again)

Code:
>>> random.shuffle(lenses_split)
>>> for i in lenses_split:
... print i
...
Super Tak 85 1.9
M 28 3.5
FA 50 1.4
Super Tak 28 3.5
A 35-70
DA 18-55
Super Tak 55 1.8X2
M 50 4
Vivitar 55 2.8
M 75-150 4
M 28 2.8
A 3.5-4
M 135 3.5
Vivitar 105 2.5
M 200 4
DA 16-45 4
Tamron 70-300 LD DI 4-5.6
Super Tak 17mm FE
DA 10-17
Super Tak 50 1:4 macro
Super Tak 135 3.5
Super Tak 55 1:2
K 35 3.5
M 50 1.7

Seriously though, looking forward to seeing your photos with the new K20, enjoy!

Well, what's your favourite lens on the K10? That'll give you a concrete idea of where the two sensors are different. Work through your lenses from those you know the most intimately to those you don't.

Conversely, to explore and maybe fall in love with an underused lens in your collection, start with a few that you don't use so often. Show some shots with your Takumars at some point too, I'm really considering upgrading from my K10 too.

Is their cutoff 7, 8, or 9 pm? Would be nice if you got it while there is still some daylight left. Might end up starting with a fast 50 out of necessity if it is dusk when you get it

Actually the Super Tak 55 1.8 is an excellent lens, and would be a perfect first choice to test a new camera

Personally, I would do the FA 50 f1.4, no question about it, but that's because it's the lens I know best. If you know it well, it ought to give pretty predictable results you can test your expectations against.
Congrats!

I'd buy a new lens - looks like about time you bought one!

Can't imagine it makes much difference as it takes a bit of time dialing in settings.

Mine was the 12-24, by the way :-)

DA 16-45 f/4 would be my choice. This way you won't have to setup the body for manual lenses right away.

I thought it was a law that you were required to put the longest lens, and teleconverter if you have one, on a new camera, mount it to the tripod and go shoot the moon.

I thought a duck photo was de rigueur.
