That hasn't been my experience at all. The Fujifilm in-camera RAW processing is very good (better than Pentax overall) and on the rare occasion I've needed to use a computer I used the software provided by Fuji, which, while slow, does a very good job. Lack of sharpness is not something I've ever experienced with my Fuji gear, not a single shot.
Originally posted by AntonioS Today I wouldn't even thing to abandon Pentax and go to Fuji. Not even considering the X-T3. It's a great camera but still a pain with the raw files and honestly, it's too expensive for what it is.
That's why I kept my K3 and gave up about upgrading my Fuji equipment.
I agree with you that the Fuji cameras are expensive for what they give, which is why all my Fuji gear has been bought used (though most of my Pentax gear was too). Having said that, the KP is also expensive and I fully expect the new APS-C flagship to be too. We are out of the age where anyone other than CaNikon can produce such cheap APS-C cameras as the economy of scale has gone with the decrease in the camera market.
Some of the lenses are expensive too, but some are decent value when you consider that they're extremely good optically and much better built than the majority of lenses from other manufacturers. The Fuji primes are almost as well built as the DA limiteds, but faster and with built-in focus motors.
