Metz 45 flash usage - DSLRs

I have a Metz 45 CL-4 that I have used on my Pentax LX, I would like to use the flash with my Pentax KP, but I am cautious about this as the KP is new!

According to the UK distributer of Metz the trigger voltage is 15v, the safe voltage for Pentax DSLRs is 25v.

Has anyone used a Metz 45 CL-4 with a Pentax DSLR in particular the KP, if so which SCA adaptor combo is used?

I have successfully used a pair of Yongnuo RF603CII wireless triggers, which may well save me hunting round for leads and adaptors!

You sure this is a rumour? (There won’t be any news before next year.)

Don’t know about the 45. However, I have used various old Metz flashes with all my DSLRs without problems.
