Thank you!

Thank you Andrea - you've done a great job! I tried it out whilst stuck in an airport recently to see how the focus points work and was impressed
Here is an example - focusing on the main subjects ear using an FA135mm lens

I did have a few issues with the application freezing which seemed to be related to WiFi disconnects. Not a big problem given this will not be my main use - my street work is all hand held walk about mainly

Once again - thanks.

Chris

Thank you for your words.

In the next releases I will try to better manage when the camera disconnects.

Hi I have a KP. Recently built a new computer too so will give it a full test during spring break. Program worked well with tablet before the tablet died on me. Hence the new computer.

Can you test the LIVE VIEW ZOOM function?
Thank you

Hi Andrea

Great program, really. Setting the focus point is quite something

I tested the Live View on the KP The picture from the camera is high in the screen and partially obscures the live view setting, but I could get it to work. The image on the screen does not change when I set the zoom to anything other than 1x. The size of the focus box increases as I increase the Live View Zoom, but the box cannot be moved and the camera does not focus when on anything else thn 1x Hope this helps and will be good if somebody else tries it as well

WiFi commander is better than Image Sync. Would it be possible to compile it for Android?

Thank you. Then the kp has the same k-70 problems with the Live View Zoom.... in the next release, at the end of this month, there will be the fix.

Given the huge fragmentation of Android hardware and software, that would likely be a development (and support) quagmire.

I agree and would be very happy to pay for an app for iOS. Just so much more useful than Image sync and then I do need to lug around a computer, but it still is a wonderful program My Nikon friends ( sorry, acquaintances) is extremely jealous

Hi sorry for the delay. I have the same problem with using the zoom function. x1 works most of the time. Any other zoom setting either doesn't respond or the box randomly moves across the screen without the kp responding for a focus selection.

---------- Post added 04-02-19 at 11:38 PM ----------

Sometimes wificmdr will crash after changing a value such as Sv then try to take a picture. I get the following in debug...

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Yep, kp has the same k-70 bug in the Zoom.
About the error, you leave the camera unused between the Sv selection and the shot? Before the error is there a window that ask to reconnect?

If I remember right, yes, there was a connection issue. I remember switching off the peak focus on the camera just before but cant think if that had anything to do with the crash.

Android development is far easier than you suppose, really not a "fragmented quagmire". Apps don't depend on a specific OS version as much as an API level. Perhaps you're an Apple user and bought into the "fragmented" disinformation some of the fan sites promote.
