Only 17 voters so far. It is insufficient to draw a conclusion until at least 30 votes. Also to avoid operator bias, the operator should be blindfolded to avoid him seeing what camera he is shooting with.

That would make manual focus real tough.

I'm kind of hoping for at least 50, the day is still young.
Typically this type of poll gets over 80, but it's a warm sunny day in June so who knows?

Does it count if I already forgot which is which? Does that make it double blind?

You know what else would be interesting? To post a poll like this, and intentionally posting leading comments early in the thread, to see if you could influence the outcome.

I'm basically a social scientist at heart.
How people respond to technology is more interesting to me than the technology itself.

Sometimes a camera is just a camera.

It is quite hard to tell. I don't know how much PP has been done. WB is not the same for sure. Usually camera is just a camera. For some shots I think also change in light is big. Interesting stuff regardless

I have neither lens and only K-1 so I have no store of “tells” to give me an advantage. Taking tests without any advantages is really hard.

OK I did my best guesses on my old 2010 iMac. Having both a K-3 and DFA 100 macro WR, I know that combination is capable of really sharp pictures but since I do not have a K-1 I do not know how much better my DFA 100 macro WR would be on a K-1.
I will finally be retiring my reliable old iMac and replacing it with a new retina 4K version. It will be interesting to check these pictures again once I have the new iMac up and running and see if I can better differentiate FF vs. APSC

If you have the 27" i7 quad core like I do, it's easier to tell with that than on the my 28" 4k monitor and laptop Those smaller dots mask blur.. But, it was breezy, so some shots may have been affected by motion blur. If I wait fora windless day, I'll never get it done. However, a good example of everyday shooting.

Mine is mid 2010. Great machine, it will be a sad day when it finally dies.

I seem to have voted on all the ones people think are FF as well. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10.

I do want to say I didn't vote on the ones I thought looked the best either.

2, 4, 5, 8, 10 are FF is how I think I voted, but now I don't remember. 11, no idea, it's quite back-focused so makes it hard to tell.

One of the reasons that I don't have a full frame is because I can't tell any difference when photo's are viewed at a "normal" size. Accordingly, I didn't vote. I'm humbled though because even Norm's test shots have such excellent composition.

After the reveal it will be interesting to see what reasons people used to choose.

Pretty much the same preset for PP. I Pick one white part of the image and white balance on that point, But whether or not there's a cloud in the way seems to change the white balance.

It's really hard to get focus on the black dog. I often come back from walks with images of all three dogs, but not her. Just look at the leaves in the focal plane behind her.
