purchasing from korea

has anyone had any experience with buying lenses from korean vendors on eBay ? a lens i have coveted for a long time is available from a vendor in korea they have good feedback and appear to have been a long time vendor but the amount of money involved makes me a little leery. i know of restaurants that have went to a lot of trouble to make themselves look good on trip advisor so it might not be much of a stretch when a lot more money is involved. any help would be appreciated.

I am sure, like anywhere else, vendors vary but I had a very positive experience with a pretty expensive camera a year or so ago.
