This exactly. Still have my first, a Minolta SRT 101 and it still works.

So when the new APS-C flagship comes, will you keep your current camera and buy the new one or sell your camera and upgrade?

Personally, I might go either route. I don't really need 2 cameras but occasionally I've felt as though I could've used 2 cameras in certain situations.
Nope. The K-1II is as much camera as I need right now. But, when I need a backup, I borrow the K-5 that I previously owned and gave to my daughter.

In the spirit of current festivities, let me just say that we won't have any sales negotiated outside of the Marketplace.

Carry on.

never would sell a camera; still have my old ME, and KX from film days; my wife, of course criticizes me for hanging on to all the old stuff.

To put it simply, No. At this point in time, I will not be buying any new cameras in the foreseeable future.

I just hope both my K5IIs and My K7 continue to work as always.

Not planning on new APSC either. I like what FF does to my lenses, so if I'm doing upgrade at some point, it's for new FF camera. Would like to have 2 FF bodies, but I'm afraid I can't justify the expense, so upgrade would probably mean selling K1ii.

I enjoy the images from the K-5 very much, the K-3 is very good too, I could sell the K-3 to replace it with a new aps-c model, but to me the K-5 is special.

I have never sold any of my old cameras because prices seem so low that it hardly seems worth the effort, so I am left with Q (the original), K-01 yellow bomb, K-10 (AF does not work), K-20, K-7 (new shutter assembly), K-5II, K-3, K-1, X-5, 645D, and 645Z. I just mainly use the K-1 and 645Z, probably should sell the others and buy another lens.

No, I would rather keep them in my just in case memory pile. Lucky I did as when I wanted to do some macro work with an old AF80 ring flash, I was able to drag out the old *ist D which used the old TTL flash system for perfect exposures. It still takes a nice shot as well.

My K-3 is still serving me very well indeed, while my K-3II - bought as a backup at a very low price point - is barely used and ready for when the K-3 fails. Plus, I've a brace of GX-10 / K10D bodies that have become my mainstays when shooting conditions allow. So, much as I'd love to own the new body - and I've no doubt I'll end up with one eventually - it would be an expensive and unnecessary indulgence just now. When the time comes (probably two or three years, perhaps more), I'll sell some non-photography-related gear to part fund it
