Originally posted by Cerebum I loved my K3, now I have my button configuration right I love my KP more. It is the same size as the K3 but it looks and feels so compact but the image quality is stellar. I have not read a bad word on here about the KP and a lot of members have one. If you can afford one, buy one
I sure do agree. Also, written dimensions can be misleading. For example the KP's height is exaggerated on paper because it is mainly due to its coming to a point at the top. And it is surprising how much difference a quarter pound of weight makes in the reality of how the camera feels in use. It is only 2 ounces less than my K-5 IIs, but I notice even that.
Some people actually don't like small-bodied cameras, preferring a more meaty feel and don't mind the extra weight. Just add the optional battery grip and the KP changes like a chameleon! It then attains a quite meaty feel, with gobs of battery life, yet only about the same weight as a K-3 II. With its supplied interchangeable grips it can modify its character according to need or preference up to the battery grip addition. A very unique and capable camera in so many ways.
