Pentax model cheat sheet, version 2

This latest version includes information on tethering as requested, researched diligently (I hope) for the most recent seven Pentax DSLR models bar one (K-S1):
Pentax camera model cheat sheet, v2 – breakfastographer

I expect to make one or two more revisions as time permits before the shiny new model hits the shelves. I hope you continue to find this useful.

I was wondering what the "Extract Edge" feature only present in the KP was about. Seems to be a special kind of Focus Peaking option. Some other cameras do support Focus Peaking, but not Extract Edge mode. Perhaps you could change the option in the sheet to Focus Peaking and specify which mode is available for each camera?

Thanks for that comment, I will take it on board. I personally find Extract Edge super useful as it gets around the problem of being able to see the white edge on a white subject, as would be the case with normal focus peaking. On at least some Sony cameras, you can change the colour of focus peaking, but I think Extract Edge is simpler and more elegant, gets right to the point.

Nice. The archivist in me wishes it went back far enough to cover my K-5, but this is a great resource for camera evaluation and purchasing going forward!

Well spotted - this one covers the KAF4 world, of which, sadly, the very nice K-5 cameras are not a part.

I'll happily sign my name to that in spite of the extra work created.

Let's hope they forego the Emmental sensors, though.

Glad you enjoyed. Am I right in thinking that you're getting by without KAF4 lenses for now? Or have you done the update on your K-S2? Maybe I should do a poll about this.
