Hi
I used to do wildlife photography with my ME super and I used slide film, I was pleased with the results at the time (Photax 500mm and Tamron 2x converter). I have since tried them on K70 and K1 the images look soft on digital cameras ( on my eye sight). The Idea of using vintage glass etc seems always to be a talking point , so I thought I would do a test in my back garden unfortunately birds don't stay still long enough, so static subjects were used. normal bad UK lighting so either high ISO or very low shutter speeds are used. its not a scientific test more in the field type use. all shots resting on a bag, aperture wide open speed and ISO to correct exposure.
K1 mk2 150-450 and 1.4x converter all Pentax.
Film lens 500mm photax and tamron 2x converter (agreed not the best but in the day did get reasonable reviews).
Unfortunately my 560mm lens has gone for repair motor faulty.
No alteration to pictures only converted to Jpeg. they may clean up with editing software. your thoughts and opinions and suggestions welcome.
