Short Video of Pentax convention.

I have not seen this posted before, a short video of the 100 years of Pentax. It's mostly of information we have already seen.

It would be more useful to release a DFA85 and DFA 70-200 f4. All this 100 year anniversary is totally useless for photographers. How about Ricoh doing something instead of just vaporware?
When I see the corporate world, I just can't believe how doomed it is. The vast majority of folks in corporations are just blowing hot air, have zero output, and are paid with comfortable compensation packages. And the most amazing, is even human resources don't have a clue what their employees are really doing. There is a huge confusion between talking and getting things done and having results, it is simply unbelievable.

Could you please stop complaining and pretend mastering every business situation, on every single thread?

Is tedious and unbecoming.

I for one am glad that Ricoh is exhibiting such pride in the Pentax line and its long history. It is reassuring to see this deep interest.

The new APS-C prototype looked interesting. I see the 3rd "set" wheel, along with a smaller LCD screen to make room for it, and instead of the 2nd wheel, there appears to be some kind of fn button, maybe to toggle through choices similar to those of the 2nd wheel on the KP or K-1. Saves room. I would be shocked if the end product did not have a pull-out rear LCD screen like the K-1 and the KP!

Its true, Ricoh seem to have given the Pentax brand the weight it deserves. An they should, the K-mount open source helped Ricoh gain a piece of dslr market back in the days.

This year, the market slows down, no new Pentax product. But fortunately Ricoh hides it by using the 100 years anniversary, that's kinda the three that hides the forest.
Now, next year do you thing Ricoh are going to make lots of 101 Pentax history anniversary again as a substitude for missing product releases?
How about in 2021, are Ricoh going to celebrate the 102 years of Pentax history again?

Considering Pentax put no more R&D in 2020 than they put in 2018 and 2019, I can imagine how 2020 and 2021 years will look like a ghost towns without the 100 years anniversary thingy.
