Do I need to upgrade from my K50?

So its been a while since you asked ......... What did you decide ?

The actual difference between the K30/K50 (the only real difference between the two is the ability to use KAF-4 mount lenses on the latter - unless you load the hacked f/w on the K-30, which works!) and the K-70 is "quite a lot" in terms of higher IQ, higher ISO, flippy screen, pixel shift, etc., etc!

The K-70 is a perfect choice IMO, one that will serve you for years. I very recently sold my KP and went with a pair of K-70's as the better solution. I'm really missing nothing of importance and my photography life is simpler.

Hi DBS, I'm not sure what you are asking in your question. If you're asking what I decided to do about upgrading from my K50, I originally planned to wait a while until the price of the KP dropped to a lower value, and then buy one. However, a mint K70 body was offered on eBay for $450 so I decided to buy it. I still haven't put it through its paces but I think from feedback in the Forum it was the best decision for my type of photography. We'll see

Seriously, that youtube video is complete garbage.

The K-50 can take very nice pictures, but your K-70 is even nicer, faster, and better in basically every sense. Don't fret over it... enjoy and take pictures
