An oddity:

There is no link whatsoever between the data processing and the sensor size.

The poster looks like a crude draft, honestly (BI instead of BSI sensor, images are not aligned), so I'm gonna bet on "fake". But if it's true I'd be... very interested in the HVF. The rest of the specs look positively great (12 fps is nuts, a Stacked 26 MP sensor is nuts, and the SR III could be amazing).

Eh, if we stretch out a bit it could mean that it has lens corrections for an APS-C crop of FF lenses? I have seen marketing speak being even more technically, obscurely correct

The "high ISO" of 204800 sounds a bit low.
My 24mp KP can go somewhat higher.
Yes, the results are not great, but in an 'emergency' they are usable.

The Fujifilm X-T3, X-Pro3 and X-T4, which use the 26.1MP Sony sensor, have an ISO 160-12,800 sensitivity, expanded to ISO 80-51,200.

The KP's highest (expanded) sensitivity is ISO 819,200. Expanded sensitivity is pure marketing choice.

It's from a facebook page. The creator stated it was just something he made for fun...

It doesn't matter how it is achieved. It basically works on the KP, and I cannot imagine Pentax's giving up on it.

Yep... Unless you got it from somewhere else. If so, perhaps a link to the source might be in order?

Thread moved to Pentax DSLR Discussion thread. In the unlikely event there's a credible source and back-story to this, we'll be happy to move it back to Pentax News & Rumours...

Sounds awfully nice but not so sure it is authentic. Depends where the source came from. Any comments on this from Ricoh? At least it brightened up my day for a minute.

Someone made it up and posted it on Facebook. It's 100% imagined.

The post was just made yesterday - it's less than 24 hours old. It's actually still there, but you probably need to join the group "PENTAX K-1 Full Frame DSLR" in order to see it. The creator originally stated that it was all just in jest, and that lead-in paragraph has now been updated further...

Little madness during the lockdown!! 😜😜
it’s just a fun item I made while stuck at home
I remind you that this is a joke, which I made during the lockdown of the covid 19. Of course it's just fun, I remind this, because some sites have published this article in rumor
