are you referring to a K10D firmware update? I see only 1.10 on the Pentax website.

I just downloaded ver 1.11 from the Pentax.JP site. It fixes the rear curtain flash intensity. It works as I tried a rear curtain shot after installing and the flash intensity is of a more proper intensity.
Another change, not announced, is that you can no longer hack into the focus corrections that were laid out here and other places earlier.

here goes the
1 - focus adjust feature,
the biggest problem with getting new lenses, sweating about the focus adjust,
with the lens!! returning lenses, bodies, going to the local shop, trying out 2-3 lenses, to make shure the new lens, where you spend 1k+ ,..
I think, this is number 1 priority, feature, needed,
2 - is Shake-Reduction,.... but so does Sony,....

3 - pro body, 1.3x to FF (1x) preffered

understand, that pentax does not want everybody to mess with it,
since it's not clean implemented, or they might be some legal issues,
but this is the most important feature, in order to sleep peacefully and be able to acquire new lenses, without major headaches !

I'd be grateful , to at least have some minor adjustment, accessible.
since a pro lens might be only 5% different, I'd need to make shure, it's there.
