I'm gonna' SCREAM

I have had some very bad luck lately. 12 grand for teeth. 2 grand for new refrig and new freezer. 3 grand for crushed car door. 2 grand for stairs. 1 grand for deck. More grands for various other things. Anyway, took a severe tumble on a decline going down to a floating dock where the decline had a flap projecting upwards that caught my foot. SMASHED my K-70 and 55-300 plm. I mean we are taking pieces of circuit board and glass. Body is insured and may be covered. We'll see. I have my doubts. Lens is not.

I suppose this is a good excuse to buy a KP but mainly I just want to SCREAM. I am tired of one disaster after another.

Ouch!

Somewhat less expensive experience here but tooth repair yes, new laptop yes, oven repair yes, although I'll try to avoid any of your other incidents. Incidentally one of the reasons I chose the K-70 over the KP was that I worked out here at least, if I destroyed it and had to buy another one, the total cost wouldn't actually be much more than getting a KP in the first place, and if I don't break it for long enough there might even be something new out.

I've always thot these things went in cycles. But this cycle doesn't seem like it wants to end.

Anyway. There are two good things: My boat is in the water finally after all the COVID delays and my ancient early 80's radar still works. That's another 2K when it decides to quit and with all the fog we have here it's really a necessity. So that's at least some good news.

Sorry to read of your travails. You've certainly earned enough misery to vent, I think. Good for your blood pressure to let out the frustration.

Sorry to hear about so much trounle! It seems at least that you have the ability to absorb this... Not sure what would happen if it were me, I'd have to get a loan against the house i guess.

Reasonably. Did get hypothermic down to 97 two days ago in the rain when the temps plummeted into the 40s. But a one hour hot bath and some buttered honey cured that!

The arthritis certainly kicked in with a lot of pain.

I think I heard that Mars is in retrograde recently? I think this might be a bad time for you so I'd suggest staying home and not leaving your bed for the next 16 days.

Look on the bright side, after all those grands, you can still consider buying a KP. Sorry to hear about all that, sounds like a lot of accidents! I wish you well on your recovery from these accidents.
