A new lens. A Rodenstock APO Sironar N 135/f5.6. Maybe better posted in the gear p0rn thread. The new lens is a more modern than the one that came with my Crown Graphic.

M9, Voigtländer Nokton 50/1.5

And here is a test shot employing a little front tilt to get extra DOF that the new lens affords with its larger image circle.

I regret donating my *ist DS. I used it once to take pics at my church for baptism (multi cultural, jump the isle kinda place). By the time it came to do it again, I had been assigned to teach Sunday school to 3-4 year olds. Later that year, I saw somebody with a Cannon kit camera doing the same. But, it did not hold up. I'm pretty sure my camera was shelved or thrown away. Later on I might get another and go with my pancake 40 or similar. Something to make it basically a point and shoot almost fits in the pocket.

Looks like good hiking @paulh

I haven't done any hiking this year so far. Normally I do a lot. This camera is one I take on hikes often. A couple from a past hike.

M9, Zeiss 25/2.8

M9 and Zeiss glass, a beautiful marriage of CCD and glass.

I thought I read that a while back Leica had some sort of recall on the M9 (sensor related?). How'd that work out for you?

Thanks, yes, it worked out well. My M9 was purchased used in bargain condition. Leica offered the sensor replacement even if you were not the original owner. It came back with what looks like new skin on it making it better than baragin condition now.

It was, thanks. I was so fortunate to have those trails basically in my backyard.

I'd say a rangefinder without live view is not the best of choices for this kind of photography.

Pentax K200D, 1.7x AF Converter and I can't remember what lens. I think it was a Pentax A 400mm f/5.6.
