That's a beauty. Love the light.

Here's a B&W yesterday with the PowerShot A560.

Your pictures never cease to amaze me... and you could be using an old Mavica and I bet I'd still be amazed...

You're too kind as always. But that's fine by me because I'm happy to hear such kind words any day.

It really would be fun to have a go with one of the old Mavicas with floppy disk storage. It looks like there was a 2MP model (MVC-FD200) and I have still got an old working laptop with a floppy drive, so it's not an impossible dream. And all of us here in the CCD club know that there's no greater pleasure than taking a nice photo with "obsolete" gear.

Everything is as you say. I looked at what kind of camera we are talking about, it was fun)). Sony's carparation has always had everything OK with money.

if there was any kind of output port (USB?) on that camera body, I probably have a cable for it in my tub of 'obsolete' cables....

(:

Likewise!

I've got a big 3 'x 2' pine box in a back room full of cables and components going back to the 80s. RS232, SCSI, Centronics, you name it. You never know when you might need a 5 pin DIN cable that nobody's ever used since the days of valve amplifiers.

Here's another angle of the castle with the 10-20mm.

You sure are getting used to that 10-20mm, Dave. I feel like I am in the middle of those ruins and I assume that is what you were trying to convey. You are inspiring me to get my Tamron 10-24mm out of my camera bag.
