I'm thinking more for using it with film. I've got a 20/4 Flektogon for Exakta and for Pentax I have both the Soligor and Tamron 21mm but only in M42. I have played around with my Tamron 10-24 on a Pz-1p and it's usable from 15mm with some vignetting. I should just spend some money for a 18 or 20 Pentax...

It's a pretty decent lens - just keep the sun at your back most of the time. My copy flared pretty badly with bright light in the frame. I relied heavily on the ND filter in Rawtherapee to salvage a number of photos. My copy has been kaput for a few years with a frozen focusing ring. I've not done anything with it since I now have other lenses to replace it.

Excellent idea for a thread Chris!

I'll keep posting my K100D and Samsung GX-1S pics in the 6MP thread, and my K-m (10MP CCD) ones here...

Amazing colors on that lilly!

We spent the afternoon at a waterfall by our local lake (Allatoona).

CCD flowers with K-10

Here are a couple of garden flowers with the K-10 and the Kiron 28mm f 2.0, a nice sharp lens with very short MFD, making it suitable for flower photography, just short of macro.

The CCD sensor usually does a great job when it's sunny. With M 200mm f/4.

I like the 200/4 M lens. While it isn't super sharp, I find it sharp enough and has great color repro and contrast. Also it's nice and light and has a built-in hood. Oh and you can find them really underpriced... I often have it mounted on an MX...that or the 75-150 M.

Indeed it is sharp enough and renders beautifully. I am thoroughly impressed with it and it (and the M 100 2.8) have done what I did not expect -take over the spot of the SMC-A 70-210 f4.

Hey, that's great! I will now go outside with the big boy of the CCDs, the 645D, and try to capture a few images worthy of the CCD Club.

I like the M-200 also. It is my go to the zoo len. I took a longer 300mm lens and would up just getting tails and trunks, but the 200 let me fill the frame with the animals.
