The S95 is basically an S90 with better video, right?

Those Canon S cameras are great little cameras, they are actually the last premium point and shoots to feature CCD sensors - that was the S200 from 2014. I actually have been wanting an S200 or S90 for a while... I had forgotten about the S95.

Back to the HD DA 18-50 I got recently... here it is on the K10D. That sensor seems to capture its rich colors nicely.

I think thatīs pretty much the case. Minor tweaks on the hardware too, donīt know if they matter that much. Yeah, get one of these, they donīt make īem nomore

Before I picked up my LX3, I researched the Canon S90/95/100 series. IIRC, the 95 had a vastly improved "something" - I'm thinking aperture setting? The S90 was a bit fiddly, maybe?. But both had a nice CCD sensor.

Lumix LX3 at the beach...

Some dial maybe stiffer, so the settings wonīt change by themself... There was some fix to that somewhere if
memory serves. The (legendary?) LX3 was on my shopping list too but got nicer deal on Canon.
