beyond the limit for this sensor iso 400. I do not have the opportunity to use this camera now, but I am beginning to understand why many spat on the color of CMOS. And the optics, I like the optics of this camera.

@Wasp: Really saturated colours! Was it taken with a CPL filter attached?
@paulh: Nice view through the trees. What kind are these? I've got some Giant Sequoia shots, unfortunately taken with a CMOS camera, so no luck here.

Not so much a dove of peace but a greedy seagull. Taken 2011/07 from a ferry in motion, using K-m + DA-L 18-55.

Accidental focus?

Very nice catch!

Thanks. Those are eucalyptus, very common in the area. They were transplanted from Australia many years ago.

Actually it was very easy to photograph (even with the kit lens) as the seagull was flying the same speed as the ferry, waiting for passengers to throw some food. Almost a still-life picture. 😀

Very peaceful scene! Love the reflections. 😎
We don't have eucalyptus trees here (probably too cold climate for them) but I like the smell of the oil.

There's an interesting story behind the picture below (taken 2011/07 with K-m).
We were already sleeping in a tent at that lake when some youngsters arrived to have a night bath. They were noisy enough to wake us up. The annoyance was compensated by this scene.
