I am confused on my Nikon D200 (similar sensor to the Pentax K10D). It all happened when I found a cheap 80-200mm f/2.8 AF lens, and this camera happened to have been included with the purchase. Never really wanted this old CCD DSLR.
My primary DSLR is the Nikon D800, which also happens to share also a similar sensor to the Pentax K1, so you could see why I didn't want to bother with it
.
But holy smokes, whether it is the sensor, the CFA, hardware, or wizardry, I cannot get enough of how I love when I take high contrast pictures.
The final light of autumn was touching down and I wanted to test an old Nikon 50mm f/1.4 that I had. Really nice lens, resolves a lot of detail.
This was taken around November as I was bored out of mind (COVID-19) and realized I have never gone out for a photography walk during winter. What a perfect excuse, especially since I wasn't worried about this old camera if it had a malfunction.
I think these images show off my inexperience with how these sensors don't have the wide dynamic range that modern sensors have- but something about the look I can't get enough of!
