That looks like a beautiful country place you have there! Nicely captured.

More R72 filter trials. This camera actually does okay with an IR filter after trying it on my DSLRs. Its exposures are shorter and you don't have to remove the filter to focus and compose. Plus some of the lenses (zooms) for the DSLRs had more significant hot spots than this Nokton 50mm.

Haha!
Thanks Al & Simon for the comments. Yeah the color is a bit extreme, but I think it works, esp. for a show truck - and a Studebaker to boot

K10D, Promaster 100mm macro; forced flash from onboard flash.

Spider related "thing"; what is it? Less than 1" diameter.
First picture this pm, after "drying" out.
Next two for context, this am during light rain and while "wet".

We call them "thistle down". Their purpose is to carry seed in the wind. The seed normally drops out early in the downs journey. Normally from thistles. In summer here in NZ you can lie on your back and watch thousands of these float past above in a blue sky.

Thanks.
We have a few thisle plants around, but not so many. I'll have to search for one about to release its seed "transporter".

So it is just happenstance that it was "captured" in the spider's web.
