In the hills again with the Super Takumar 35/3.5 on K10D. It was incredibly green here this Spring from the heavy winter rains. There's a bench at the top of the hill donated by a local Boy Scouts troop.

That's the old British Railways green that was used in the 1950s and early 60s. I'm a couple of years too young to remember travelling on steam trains, although I probably did it as a baby, but I always love seeing them running. There are a couple of heritage railways in my area where smaller locos chug along at low speeds, but nothing beats the sight and sound of a mainline locomotive hurtling along at full steam. The train in that shot is travelling along the main line between Plymouth and London Paddington and doing about 70mph at that point.
