I've yet to find a vendor using paypal as checkout on eBay for k20d bodys that I trust and see are usa warrantied. Prodigital has a yr warranty thanks to pentaxs policies but it's still a Canadian body and will not qualify for their extended warranty promotion going on right now. If you know of a reputable vendor please pm me.

It's down to $765 on certain sellers via Amazon. It's almost too good to be true how fast the price keeps on dropping. Any speculations how low retailers will go with this camera in '08?

No I bit at 970 with a camera bag and lowepro strap a month ago.

I just ordered the K20, battery grip, 2 extra batteries and car charger for that price. Dont feel bad though, nine times out of ten Im the one on the crappy end of the deal. That was through Amazon, camera is coming from Cameta Camera.

It already practically has. You can buy it from B&H for $798.95 which includes a $100 gift certificate. I am going to use my certificate toward the purchase of some memory cards, an extra battery, and a remote release!

Yeah, unless you're going to Ritz or something, most places are selling the K20D for under $800 now.

I was skeptical that Pentax would announce a new flagship model at the 2009 PMAs, but given these price drops, it looks likely.

The Canadian Warranty is 2 years. I got it $648 shipped by using the 10% off ebay coupon.

I picked up a 20d evening of 11/5 on ebay. $849 + Free shipping and Microsoft 25% for $200 back. Dealer is The Image World and sells USA dealer. Shipped Federal Express 11/6 with 11/10 delivery on Tracer.

I know the price will fall further but I've been watching/lowballing the eBay auctions for K20s for the past 3 weeks and finally got one for $630US today from Prodigital (best price I've seen on the auctions so far). The warranty appears to be an international one year version (the Canuck version is 2 years which would be better for me but I can't complain).

Keep your eyes on these auctions because there is definitely a pattern related to day of week and time of day.

Happy to be one of the K20D crowd!
