It will actually have GPL global positioning lock. It will stay exactly where you let go of it so no tripod needed also means it will not fall to the ground, cannot be dropped.

In 2089 it will be very important for new cameras to have fixed LCD screens. I mean, we can live with articulating screens, but think of all the advantages you're missing out on without a fixed screen.
If it will be in 2089, the battery will be either nuclear or solar powered. Ahaaa!!! Then it should have a USB port where I can plug in my rice cooker. In case I'll go out on an excursion I will be able to cook rice. I'm Asian you know.

Are we all still hiding from corona virus in '89?..... (I'm only asking as I only have enough toilet rolls stashed to get to 2056.... will need to pop out and get some more if it is.....).

Funny you should mention that as the promotional literature says it will be offered with 3,000 toilet rolls at the introductory price of 100,000 USD.

I really had a high hope for Pentax's 170th anniversary, 2089, and this will be their top of the line offering to celebrate? They STILL don't offer dual film slot (really? do you want to risk THAT?), and why is there no grip, do they want us to go back to dark ages or what? I don't know about you but that ain't a flagship for me!

No wonder Pentax will have been doomed for well over 80 years by then! Time to sell all my Pentax gears!

But can I also use AA batteries? If not, that's a deal-breaker.

Of course you can. But I'm sure I won't be able to plug in my rice cooker.

Of course. Most AA batteries available in 2089 are nuclear powered. No problem.
