Now we need to know how it is, especially with the 43 and XS 40! I love the DA 40 SMC on my K-1 so those should both rock!

I think the XS is known to be pretty darn good on FF.

I plan on some photos from my upcoming trip to Estes Park/RMNP in a few days

using the FA limiteds, I'm renting the 31

but my DA 40mm XS will have to wait, it is up in Omaha with my son and his wife who are trying out the KP

Ah well, it's all downhill from there!
Going downhill, faster and faster!!

You'll be getting to RMNP after our big cold, snowy, wet blast the beginning of next week. The air has been much clearer (less smoke) than 2 weeks ago.

You should get some excellent shots, perhaps with lingering snow. Might be a bit chilly at night.

And soon provide a home for a lonely FA 31 ltd.

Put it this way: A sailing buddy of mine has a K1ii that he really likes (too heavy w/ lenses for me as I like to take my camera hiking). He likes it so much he has put in an order for one of the 1000 silver units already.

It's so simple! You'll love the K-1 because it's a dandy piece of equipment, and you'll just want one anyway. So throw caution to the wind and ignore all the other variables. It's not about reason, it's about emotional response. You have this moment, the future does not exist, the past does not exist. Why not have maximum enjoyment right now? Go ahead and buy the K-1 outright; to quote "Biff" in "Back to the Future", "You know you want it..."

K1ii is addictive. I fell in love after playing around with it for 5 minutes in the store. It took me a year to put pennies aside for dream to come true.

Yes ! it IS dangerous.

Once you use it for a few hours, resistance is futile....... you will get one !

The 300mm f4 works fine for wildlife but I prefer to use it with the K3ii.

My 100mm macro work wonders on the K1ii......
