Hi, I want to know if it is possible to use a old SMC Pentax FA 28-90mm on a SLR K200D.

Certainly! That's not even old by Pentax standards - it's got autofocus! Many of us use lenses from before the days of autofocus, and some even use lenses from before the introduction of the (bayonet) K-mount...

I can't comment on that particular lens, but I do occasionally use an old K 55 f1.8 lens (which is older than I am, by a fair bit), and there certainly don't appear to be any problems with it on digital.
