A new medium format would warrant new lenses to realize that increased resolution.
Similar how the new DFA 50 and DFA 85 were needed in the FF world.
It would seem to me that the R&D over at Ricoh is stretched pretty thin, and taking on new 645 development, in addition to chasing their new FF line and on-going APS-C development, seems unlikely to me.

Do you think we will see more 645 lenses in addition to a new body, then?

Or they could just use all the even numbers they didn't use first time through K-0, K2, K-4, K-6, K-8. At six years between releases that would get them to 2050, (When I'm 102.)
