Ultrawide zoom recommendation for Infrared

Has anyone tried an ultrawide zoom lens such as the Sigma 10-20mm using a converted infrared camera?

The Sigma 10-20mm does exhibit hot spots, as does the DA 12-24mm.
The DA 14mm is perfect.

I was intending to get something a little wider than the 14mm. I have the 16-50, so the 14 does not change the view as much as I would like ;{

Is there a list of IR-suitable lenses for Pentax somewhere? I keep hearing that the kit lens is good, and the 18-250 workable, but not much beyond that. Anything else?

I've been looking for a list like that as well. The best I can find is DPanswer: Digital Infrared Resource page

I've heard differing things - from Convert your Digital SLR to Infrared

ACS report that they have found the Sigma 10-20mm causes hotspots on Canon and Nikon cameras. I had no problem with the Sigma on my Pentax.
