Pentax innovations or unique features

I was just reading a member article about the Green Button and realized that this was a Pentax specific innovation. I think it first came out on the P-Z1, but was white?? Anyway, what other innovations did Pentax start and other brands later copied?? It always amazes me when Pentax gets looked down on, when they have come up with things that the "other guys" adopt!! Was quick shift a Pentax first?? I think I read in an OLD Peterson's Photographic magazine that Pentax had the first reversible, removable bayonet hood. Not an awesome invention, but convenient. So, help me out, what has Pentax started or was the first to implement, or perhaps what features are unique to Pentax. I would like to make a list just for fun and trivia, and a little smugness!!

Although Pentax was not the first to use IBIS (In-body-image-stabilization), they did introduce a lot of cool features that used the underlying capabilities:
* pixelshift
* composition adjustment
* automatic horizon leveling
* astrotracer

First instant return mirror (late Asahiflex).
First successful built in meter (Spotmatic).
First multicoating of lenses. (only about 99% sure about this)
I think the ES Was the first auto exposure SLR
First autofocus (ME-F, but it was a dead end).
I think TAv mode is unique to Pentax.
Sensor shift stabilization was most likely developed by Sony but I think Pentax used it first in DSLRs. Not 100% sure.
Pixel Shift I think was first used in Pentax.
I think Pentax was the only DSLR with weather sealing at first. Not 100% sure

Thanks,

Wow! I forgot about some of these and did not know most of them. Yes, I think TAv is also usique to Pentax!! I especially like the "unique" features! People say "How did you do that?"

For aperture priority, maybe, but not for SLR exposure automation in general. Konica's Auto-Reflex model (first of a series) had non-TTL shutter priority AE in 1965 and TTL AE in 1968 with the Autoreflex T. Both were firsts for interchangeable lens cameras.

Is the digital preview function only a Pentax feature or does any other make have it? All I know is I use it a lot.

Oh yeah! This is pretty cool! I also just discovered the green button usage in Manual and TAv. Good stuff!

I think I'm going to organize these features and make a list of them all!

The TAv Mode by name may be unique to Pentax, but the functionality is certainly available on some Canon cameras.
They have Auto-ISO in Manual Mode, which Pentax doesn't feature, which amounts to the same thing … choose your shutter speed and aperture (within reason) and the camera takes care of the exposure by shifting the sensitivity … I don't think they've got the ISO range that's available on the recent Pentax bodies, though

Ok, but did Pentax implement the idea first, since TAv is tantamount to Manual mode with auto, AND we have the GREEN BUTTON!!

The IF (Interactive Function) button on the PZ-1 was a precursor to the DSLR green button. It shifted the time and aperture values to the program line in Hyper Manual and Hyper Program and adjusted the aperture when using flash.
