Image counter on K20d???

I bought a pentax k20d, image number on my camera says 100-9393, how many exposuiers did this camera have?

How i can be shure in this number of exposures?

I have been told that camera was taken only 60 exposures so i doubt in this 60 number is true.

Thank you wery much!!!!

Did you transfer you're old memory card into the new camera with photos still on the card? It's been my experience that the camera will see the last file name, and start with the next one.

The windows software Photome will show you the actual shutter actuation count by looking at one of the photos from the camera... Do a search for photome and you'll find a bunch of info on that.

Yeah, I've read that numerous places, and it makes sense that the factory would put the body through a few hundred cycles to check for obvious defects.
