I'll second that option, especially since you have the older manual lenses for low light situations. I sold my two lens combo once I bought the 18-250 and didn't feel like I missed anything.

Well I went ahead and ordered the 2 lens kit. I'm pretty excited about it.

Also looking forward to trying out my dad's old lenses.
