Low light shooting capabilities GX20 at low ISO

Was shooting Simple Minds at Sheffield Arena on Monday night which is a 10,000 seater arena, support band where scottish rockers Deacon Blue. it wasn't until after they had finished & checked my camera that I realised I had been shooting at ISO200.

Settings where

No flash
Shutter priority mode
shutter speed 1/100
aperture 2.8
Lens Pentax DA*50-135mm

I thought to I had really cocked it up as I usually shoot well lit gigs at ISO800 on checking out the photos I could not believe how good they where. The sharpness & textures are great.

Here is a link to the published photos - Deacon Blue photos - at Sheffield Arena, Sheffield on 01/12/2008

Here is a link to the Simple Minds photos using ISO800 with a Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 - Simple Minds photos - at Sheffield Arena, Sheffield on 01/12/2008

They have not had any pp or cropping just resized to 500 pixels for web use & converted from raw to jpeg.

Really loving my GX20
