At one point, my captured images had IMGPnnnn.DNG names, where nnnn were numeric values. Now files are named _IGPnnnnn.DNG. Why the change, and can I control the naming convention? I searched this forum to no avail.

You've changed the colour space that the camera records with from sRGB to Adobe RGB.

That's correct indeed. Was this fact anywhere in the manual, which I RTFM'd BTW.

Yes. Manual states for this - "if you shoot in sRGB you have IMGPXXXX, if Adobe RGB - _IGPXXXX"
