Please Recomend Lens for K100

I am purchasing a K100 mainly due to positive experience with antishake in other camera's. AA's nice too (had that in Olympus 2100 slr). Anyway, I need a lens recommendation- I've been all over the boards all day and can't really make much headway. Quality and speed more important than price. Don't mind sigma/tamron/tokina if thought to be good. prefer lens designed for aps sensor (i.e. digital camera only lens). I've been looking at 17-70, 18-105, 28-130, etc. Appreciate the help. papabeagle

If wide angle is important, go for the DA 16-45 f4. Great 'standard' zoom with constant aperture. If normal to moderate tele focal lengths are more your bag, then Tamron's 28-75 f2.8 Xr Di is a winner. (Was one of the first Digitally integrated designs from Tamron, and from it's wide aclaim, they did their homework)

The 18-55 is as good as all the cheap 3rd party options (Probably better, it's a great lens for the money). I'd just add the 50-200 instead of getting a cheap Sigma or Tamron.

Otherwise, I'd look seriously at the 16-45 f4 DA (Very attractive since the price drop) or the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 (A gem also, but a little more expensive than the 16-45 and it lacks quick-shift focus). For a longer lens, I'd agree with the Tamron 28-75, I used to own one (Sold it when I sold my *istD last winter and regretted selling the lens ever since).
