PentaxTips Needs Help

Hello Everyone!

I have this YouTube channel called PentaxTips...

As a few of you may know, I have been working for months on a History of Pentax video.

The concept of the video could be described as a power montage; by my count, there are 113 Pentax bodies to include.
Maybe 30 seconds on each camera (with some padding) will create more or less a 1 hour history movie.

I have access to local friends collections, which covered a substantial portion of the required catalogue.
However, I have also been reaching out to PentaxForums members who have posted on camera user reviews or have their collection listed on their profile/signature.

Currently, I already have video footage of 96 Pentax bodies.

We have nice representative samples from all series.
Although we could probably pull a video together with what we have, we are aiming to include every body!

Are you willing and able to help provide some content for our history video?

The only bodies we still need are:
Asahiflex I
Asahiflex IA
Asahiflex IIA
Pentax 67
Pentax K2 DMD
Pentax P3N / P30N
Pentax Auto 110 Super
Pentax Z-5
Pentax Z-5p
Pentax Z-10 / PZ-10
Pentax Z-50p
Pentax Z-70 / PZ-70
Pentax Z-70p
Pentax 645Z
Pentax K110D
Pentax K200D
Pentax K-500
Pentax K-S1
Pentax K-1 II

In addition, I am looking for a video of the Super-Takumar 70-150mm f/4.5
early Asahi (AOCO) stuff would be interesting, binoculars, projectors, etc.
maybe an LX2000 would be cool too

If you have one of these cameras, would you be willing to send me about ~1 minute of footage exhibiting your gear?
4K is preferred but 1080p works.
Files sent via DropBox, Google Drive, WeTransfer, etc

I'd be asking for a whole body video, and maybe a closeup video shot of the labels/logos. Maybe demonstrating a control or shutter.
Nothing too fancy, just displaying the bodies at a kitchen table or so will work. Also, please video in landscape orientation.
We will provide all voice-overs and audio, we are just looking for video from you.

Here is some example footage:
youtu.be/pImx8vB98Ro
youtu.be/5-sCYsNGdlE

A list of contributors will be credited in the description of the video.

I will ask that if you are willing to contribute, comment below that you plan to do so and I will promptly cross that body name off the above list. We can then private message to arrange how to transfer the files.

Please let me know if you're interested in volunteering some footage to be included in my project.

Thanks and take care!
Stephen

You mention the PZ-10 and PZ-70, but not the other PZ equivalent cameras. Does this mean you are not interested in a PZ-70p or a PZ-5?

Can I urge everyone, by the way, to go to Youtube and subscribe to Stephen's channel?

PentaxTips - YouTube

He provides great info without the hysterics/clickbaiting/trolling of The Cameraville Guy.

Let's get around him, lads!

Do those exist?
If they exist I'll be glad to have those!
I've been using the PentaxForums camera review listing for a model listing.
I don't see a PZ-70p or PZ-5 listed.

They are listed in an ad in the marketplace. They are inexpensive. I might buy one just to have it sent to someone that would video it.

Looking at images I think these may be mislabeled. But they are still the models you want.

I spoke too soon. Some are correct like this pz-10 :

Well, I'm not going to say "no!"
But you don't have to spend your money on this

A non-working version of one of the cameras was like $6. The shipping is the question.
