New Pentax ad campaign

Ned B, Marketing VP for Pentax posted samples of the new Pentax ad campaign (some of which we've seen here) on his blog. Pretty interesting stuff:
NED BUNNELL: "YOU'RE A PENTAXIAN" branding campaign

NaCl(I thought the "you can't" themed ads the most interesting )H2O

So did I.

Then again the K10D is my first Pentax, so I can't really relate to the "loyalist" one.

Now, we just need for Ned to find a way for us to get coffee mugs, T-shirts and sweatshirts with the ads on them so we can become "walking advertisements" for our gear!

They really shouldn't show that K10D wearing an 18-55 kit lens. At least put a 16-45 on it. or a 16-50!

Me too but I want my sweatshirt to be a hoodie, and baseball caps! Or even better for photogs, a floppie. I've got a real nice floppy from Sirius Radio.

Hey, Buddy - I'll take a new red Porche 911 with PENTAX printed boldly on the back bumper . . . . or a new red-hulled Tartan 4400 with the word, "Pentax", stitched on the mainsail. Seriously, I've been a Pentax customer since '78, and although I lack the psychological wiring to identify emotionally with any manufacturing company, I wish Pentax well and hope they "live long and prosper".

Jer, ya gotta think bigger! How about a waterside estate in Maine with the front facade a replica of the K1000 body. Widow's walk around the penta prism housing. Outbuildings shaped like lenses and camera bags. I'm not much of a "company man" either, but for digs like that I'd pretend REAL hard.

No, Salty. For something like that, you're dreaming up a castle

As for me that Porsche will do me fine! Or maybe a Ferrari? They always look good in red!

May be Alan, but the sailing's just great! And the fishing's not bad either. Not to mention quahogs, steamer clams, and lobsters...it's not even 8am here and I'm already hungry!

I've got the t-shirt! I'm wearing it in my avatar pic.
Here's a link to the Pentax Web Store; unfortnately, they don't have the t-shirt anymore, but they do have a baseball cap.
