I have found a similar situation with a number of my lenses. On my K-3 Mark III, FW 1.31, the optimal AFFA varied slightly depending on the focus direction, but most of the 11 lenses I tested were fairly close and a single AFFA setting works for either direction. One lens did not give a robust solution, so I will always focus that one preset at infinity. On other cameras, some of my lenses showed a significant difference in AFFA characteristics.
