Now, having used other cameras, I would not rank K1 #5 if I was 100% objective, K1 would come 3rd worst case. Being aware of my preference and bias, the ranking in that video is completely flawed because it's done by a Canon and Nikon user, that's just wrong. The cameras should be given in a blind test fashion to a group of people who aren't used to any kind of camera, and I'm sure the K1 would rank much better, and maybe #1. It was interesting how blind testing of "color science" and DPR testing differed in the past.
It was meant to be subjective, so there's nothing wrong talking about '
my top-5'. Weight was obviously a criterion where the K-1, similar to the Nikon D 850, lost in his preference. After an hour of shooting macros with e.g. the Irix 150mm handheld, I can relate to it. Weight aside, there is definitely room for improvement on the K-1, such as e.g. display brightness, sluggish live-view, focus peaking color, and he hasn't handled a K-3 III yet for any significant time, I suppose :-) But all the pros of course make the K-1 a joy to use
for me. The feature set definitely plays a big role, I remember not liking the K-3 handling too much coming from the K-5, because more things to manage meant less direct button and switch control.
