Would llike to see the results for the Tamron 18-200. I thinking about getting one for general use.

How about a pic of the lens too so we'll know which ones you have. There are several different versions of the 70-300 APO.

i have relinked these from another thread.. sigma 70 x 300..

the swan pic is the APO earlier none dg sigma.. no red band around the top.. the rest are the later current apo dg with the red band.. i dont have the cheaper none apo one..

full frame image jpeg straight from my k100.. resized for posting useing irfanview

100% crop of the same pic.. cropped useing irfanview..

a moonshot useing the sigma and 2 x tele.. handheld.. jpeg.. 100% crop..

full frame jpeg image macro

#######

the sigma 400 f-4 prime i had suffered from a badly fogged lens.. they are hard to get good examples of.. i had three goes on ebay and gave up in the end.. the later apo one in good condition would be well worth having..

here is a pic taken with my earlier apo version.. the same position as the tamron wide angle shot.. it would be looking over to the center right of the tamron shot..

the problem is finding a good example..
