I am waiting for the K100D upgrade, as well.

I've had my DS for only 1.5 years, so I couldn't really justify spending again that amount of money on a new body that soon, and what I am really missing in my DS is a faster AF that would be able to keep up with the fast movements of my daughter (1.5 years old).

So the fast AF of the K10D would be just what I need, but on the downside I really like the small size and weight of my DS, and I wouldn't really want to have inferior quality at ISO 800.

6 MP are all I really need, so an upgrade to the K100D, still with 6 MP, SR, but a few more external controlls (dials, buttons) AND faster AF AND SSM lens support would be my ideal camera.

Although I am too late for the poll, count me in.

I'm going to buy a K10D. Haven't pre-ordered it though.

Since my current (film) camera is a ZX50, I don't have anything to loose

. My lenses will stay, of course.

It has the (must have) features I'm looking for in an SLR viz., spot metering, DOF preview and mirror lockup. Well, that's not all, this camera exceeded my expectations by loading it with tonnes of more useful features.

I'm saving up to buy a K10D and an additional lens.
