good wrist band for k5 (or k7 k5ii k5iis) with grip

I got the official Pentax grip for my k5iis, but notice that the 'parachute cord' braided wrist band I used so far (attached on right side of camera) doesn't work very well when switching between landscape and portrait orientation, the cord gets in the way when holding the grip.

What would you all recommend for a wrist band solution when having a grip attached? What is the best point to attach it to?

I have Peak Design wrist cuffs for both of my cameras. I haven't used them with the battery grip, but I think they would work very well. They utilize anchor points that the cuff can quickly be attached and detached with one hand. I have an anchor attached on the right camera strap lug, and I have one attached to a Peak Design tripod plate on the bottom of the camera. You can look them up at www.peakdesign.com

Many thanks! Will get cuffs and anchor plate, very nice solution!

The peak design descriptions says that they are made out of several materials among which aluminum, won't they scratch the body?

I saw some smallrig wrist cuffs for up to 5 kg that seem fully made from a plastic material, might also try those, though with a heavy lens it could get less funny. peak design seems to claim 90kg so that is quite a difference.
