It's the title to one of their albums.
I know it's an album title but how does it connect to the post it was a reply to?

And if you look at my avatar, it might make even more sense.

KP arrived today. Great condition (almost unused by the looks of it with a shutter count <5000) but will be a bit of a learning curve as my hands are so used to my K20D and where all the buttons, dials, etc are. Guess I'll just have to take it on all my work trips for a little while and get used to it.

Also, as to you're original question, think about the absurdity of buying a K1 because I have the battery for it.

Depending on your shooting needs, the lenses you have, etc. you might wind up in the market for a KP battery grip. Then your "extra" battery would be very much of use. The battery grip converts this camera into quite a different beast, along with the ability to provide a whole lot of shooting time without the need to change batteries.

Not a technical composition or anything other than playing around. SOOC (resized, unsharp mask) at ISO6400. Just WOW compared to my K20D. New question....was reading about the built in wifi and it seems mainly for controlling the camera from a phone. Will it transfer photos to my pc so I don't need to use the cable or a card reader? I'm thinking for single shots that would be easier than cable, but just curious.

Yeah, I never set my K10D higher than ISO400 after learning that was its limit. For my K-5IIs the limit is around ISO1600 for 'acceptable' noise. I've got the auto-ISO on the KP set to top out at 6400. However, I saw an image posted here that someone took with a KP set to ISO10,000 that was amazingly good. IIRC they didn't use noise reduction in post-processing either.

I never set my auto-ISO higher than about ISO 640 on my K-50. The K-70 is solid to ISO1600 and passable up to ISO3200. My KP is fine out to ISO3200 and passable up to 6400 and even well beyond.

I had limited myself to around ISO 800 with my K-30, but when I got my KP, I did experiment with various ISO values, and found that I was ‘fine’ with even values like 25K if the choice was that or using flash

Iso 25600! - PentaxForums.com

Both noise and DR were tolerable to me.

I'm of that mindset....rather get the shot than not. And coming from the K20, where ISO800 was usable, but mostly converted to B/W, the stunning results at 6400 got me doing the same thing....12,800, 25,600...

Well, I'm sorry - but it won't work without one.

Well, I've had the KP since the price deals came out in 2017, and I am in love with it. Then late in 2020, I finally took the plunge and took a deal from B&H for the price-reduced K-1 II and DFA 28--105 WR combo mainly due to the fact of having some very fine FF lenses bought new back when still shooting 35mm film, just sitting from not being as suitable on APS-C. The lens was prepackaged at $100 off the separate price, and this gives me a WR FF outfit. I am really, really glad I now have both. They are amazing, and each superior in its own realm. I use a KP setup when need maximum compactness with maximum quality and capability, and also for longer tele where I can get more "reach" with a higher lens. Then it is a K-1 II setup for WA to shorter tele use when I want maximum IQ, maximum low noise/high ISO capability, and will be doing just moderate walking around or going by car. This is one truly outstanding camera. I am in love with it too! This deal is still offered, with yet more included!

Some people are already waiting for a K-1 III, which in all likelihood will be using the same "advanced" BSI sensor as now used on the Nikon D850, Z7II, and Z9, any of which cost $thousands. But do find the video image-testing comparisons on youtube by "CameraVile" between the Sony 7rIII, the Nikon D850, and the Pentax K-1 to see for yourself which camera actually produces the best imaging- and the K-1 is the "obsolete" old one!!
