I’m in the same boat as several others here. I’ve had the K10D for almost 2 years now and for the most part I’m well served by it. I looked at the K20 but for the type of shooting I do I just can’t justify the change. Yes, the K20 has some interesting upgrades but not enough for me to justify the jump. To my mind cameras have pretty much become consumer electronics. There is always something new and better on the horizon. Most of us will never be able to keep up with the changes. As with most things electronic, cameras seem to have a similar built in obsolescence as well. Unlike the old film days the technological advances have become much more compressed. I can still use my old K2 and MX some thirty years after purchase. They were built to last a lifetime. I’m certain the same won’t be true of the K10D. In any case I’m waiting for the K30 or whatever it may be called before I seriously start looking for an upgrade. By that time there should be enough significant changes for me to justify the expense of an upgrade to my wife and possibly myself.
Cheers
