Sigma 600mm Mirror on a new K20D

Hi all,
I just got my new K20D. I tryed to use my Sigma 600 mm Mirror Telephoto, but it seams to not work.

No matter what setting the camera is on, I get a "F - -" flashing on the lcd screen. This lens is fixed at f8.

I've gone through the manual and have not been helped. I've gone through the menu on the camera, still nothing.

Antbody have any ideas? I've listed the lens on e-bay to get rid of it. I will cancell the listing if I can get this lens to work on my camera, because I really like this lens.

Thanks.

Yea, I went walking and left my tripod in the truck. It was very hazy that day, hard to focus with such a short range.

Sorry for taking so long to get back. From what I remember, it was f8 of course. 1/250 shutter speed, with either 200 or 400 ISO.

It's hard to believe someone could forget so much, so fast, without a severe blow to the head.

I probably should have wrote it down.

thanx, my shakiness restricts me to mono/tripods.... and that memory loss is common once you hit 60, without the severe blow

Well, I just got my new "Bigma". Wow. What a difference between the 600mm mirror and that lens. Everything is so much sharper. I can't wait to go outside and play.
