K20 Advice on AF Adjustments?

Is there a need to adjust AF on the k20 out of the box? or it adjustments needed only for older non-DA or FA lenses?

btw; how do you adjust AF?

You should not need to adjust anything unless you have a lens that front or back focuses. You can do some basic testing (just line up a row of batteries diagonally and shoot that with the lens wide open) or use a focus testing chart to see if your lenses have any issues. But don't bother with it unless something seems off in the first place.

Focusing with a fast lens, wide open in tungsten light is a problem for most dslrs, so be careful. You might end up adjusting it so that it focuses correctly indoors, but not in daylight.

I suggest testing the focus in daylight if you think you might have a ff or bf problem.
