What spatula size for sensor cleaning?

My k100D sensor has 7 dust spots (more like stains) which I just cannot get rid of using rocket blower. So I bought the Eclipse E2 and the pec pads but I would like to use a homemade spatula instead of the expensive swap thingy.

Wifey help me to buy from k-mart a pack of spatula set (4 different sizes) for A$2 and I am ready to go.

Only question is what size should I cut the spatula to? Do I cut it to the exact width of the sensor or larger than the sensor or ?

Thanks gowerray!! 17mm is the size for k100D and k20D. Wish me luck. This would be my first time to try a wet cleaning in 2 years!

Took two goes to get it all off my camera. First sweep moved all the crud to one side of the sensor. Once I realised where I'd gone wrong it was simple. Just follow the advice on that site.
My crud? I had been changing lenses in the conservatory. Last count there were 80 odd plants in there. With age comes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, stupidity!
